The rate listed reflects a monthly rate. I think this place would be nice if you were staying a few days, as the short term sites are in the front of the property and very nice, though the construction next door is noisier from those sites. The monthly sites are in the back and share facilities (laundry room and bathhouses) with the adjacent mobile home park. I was ogled and whistled at several times by some unsavory characters hanging out by the facilities, which didn't increase my comfort in this park. The manager is possibly the most unfriendly and least accommodating person I've dealt with, though the staff is very helpful until the manager finds out and nixes anything bordering on customer service. We ended up leaving here to go to a different park in the area because we were so unhappy with this place. Long term sites are tight and marginally level gravel, drive into downtown involves a road with a lot of traffic lights and stop and go.

I didn't actually see this campground in the light since we used it for an overnight stop. The manager was very friendly and helped us get into our site, making sure our slide cleared the tree and hook ups in our site. The bathrooms were sparkling, as were the showers. They do a good overnight business and have long pull thru w/e sites right by the entrance for people just wanting to get off the road for the night. We saw several large motorhomes with their toads still attached. Would definitely stay here again. The store also has pizza.

This park will be really good once the new owners do some work. The bathrooms were mostly clean, but so old it was hard to tell. One of the shower stalls was peeling and one seemed not to have hot water. The pool was closed, so I don't know about that. Also, the water has a very odd smell from the metals in it. I for one did not drink it. The wifi was pretty reliable, and when it did go out, they at least knew what to do about it. Sites are a good size, nice and shaded with some grass that could use some work since there's dirt showing through.

I wanted to rate this one better because it's a beautiful place, the sites are large (grass covered gravel, not paved as previously posted) and well kept and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, their website is misleading and some amenities (pavilion, wifi) that are listed are only for seasonal campers. The woman in the office moved us to another site when we said we had to leave if we couldn't get the wifi signal (my husband works full time), but the pavilion couldn't be opened for us no matter what. Also, our site hadn't been used yet this season and still had sanitizer in the pipes, a rather nasty surprise when I took that first sip of water. I would hesitate to stay here again.

This is the most pleasant looking park in the immediate area, with very easy access to Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak and the other attractions in the area. We were here in the off season, which was good since this campground is TIGHT. My husband, who is very adept at backing our tiny 25' trailer into spots, had to do a lot of wiggling to avoid trees. We checked in after hours and they had us in a spot next to a run down permanent trailer, but the next morning they were happy to let us move to a better spot. Both spots were difficult to maneuver into because of the trees planted six inches from the roadway, but the sites themselves are a good size. Also, had it not been the off season, I'm not sure where we would have parked our tow vehicle, since we had to park it in the empty spot next to us (with park approval). Staff really friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are old and could do with a redo, but they are clean.

We stayed here overnight on our way across Kansas. Clean, cheerful bathrooms, easy to navigate, at least in the back section. Didn't notice any highway noise, just a couple of trains, but they didn't wake us up. Friendly owners/managers (not sure which) and sufficient office hours for late check ins. Close to historic district and route 50.

This is a good place for overnight, or a week like we're doing. Lots of long term residents, but very well kept rigs (professional skirting, tidy lawns, well kept sheds, etc.) and friendly folks. Only one family style bathroom that was very clean, but never had a problem getting into it. Our rig is small, so not sure how hard navigating with a bigger rig would be, but there are some larger fifth wheels here, so it must be possible. Close to highway and train tracks, but highway noise is negligible because the highway is elevated and trains didn't keep us awake. Wifi is supposed to be for monthlies only, but my husband explained he needs to work while on the road and they added us onto their secure network. Storm shelter right next door if that becomes necessary. Cute, well kept little park, very reasonable rates and near area historic attractions.

We spent the winter here, and the above price reflects a monthly rate. Good park, easy pull through sites. The water problem mentioned in previous posts no longer exists, but the water does still have an odd flavor. The wifi was very spotty, especially for the $$. Staff was nice once we were there awhile and the gate and security guard made it feel very safe. The bathrooms are clean but older. The pool and hot tub are nice, and there are some planned activities. The pavilion is large and they have a good book/game exchange. Close to any major store you could want. The highway noise isn't very pronounced, but there are F-16s from Luke AFB going overhead most days.

This park is beautiful - tucked in the redwoods with lots of blackberries. The loops the cabins and tent sites are on are nice places to walk, since they meander through the redwoods. Five miles to Crescent City and five mile to many different ocean beaches. The park was fairly quiet when we were there, since it was the beginning of the off season. Sites were gravel, fairly level (one leveling block) and most were fairly wide. Some have shade, some don't, so if you have a preference, make it known. Bathrooms were nice and clean, staff friendly. It's right on 101, but not too noisy. We would stay here again.

This is a nice park with a 'campground' rather than resort feel. Trees are everywhere, which is nice. Our site was pretty level, though we saw quite a few that weren't. The big problem here is the showers. There's mildew and they operate on a push button system that can't be adjusted for temperature. Wifi was nice and strong since we were right under the antenna and the staff is super nice and helpful.

This park is a nice respite from crowded campgrounds. The sites are large and have a nice patio and landscaping around your hookups. Grass abuts most of the sites and is well watered, since it's part of a golf resort. The pool and spa are warm. There's not a whole lot to do around here, so don't expect to be sightseeing all the time. But if you just want to relax in a open, grassy setting, this is quite nice. We came for a week and stayed for a month and a half, so they must have done something right.

I should state that we did not spend the night at the park. We read some reviews here and changed plans, but some of our mail did end up here. When we went to pick it up, we were happy we'd wound up at Spokane RV Park up in Deer Park. This is an asphalt parking lot with lots of permanent residents. The sites were tiny. While we waited for the office staff to return from parts unknown, we watched a poor guy in a large coach try to wiggle into his pull through site. That's right, a pull thru site was tight and hard to maneuver into. No grass and looked like people had to choose between their awning and their slide.

This is a nice park, friendly people. They accommodated us when we showed up a day early by mistake. The wifi didn't reach to all sites, including ours, even though my husband asked for one that would be in range. They were happy to move us closer to the office, but we chose to stay in our large end site instead. Clean, family oriented, nice pool and splash area for the kiddies.
